1

Phase 1
DPSers just burn the boss unless you have Necrotic Plague. If you get it, it is IMPORTANT that you move IMMEDIATELY to the OT. I don't care if you have 4 stacks of AB, if you are have 5 combo points or whatever reason you may have that you want to stay one more second DPSing. MOVE IMMEDIATELY FIRST. Once you are at the adds, you can wait for 1-2 more seconds if it's not cleansed, then move back to original position.
Try to stack on the Shambling Horror/Ghouls so that your disease will jump to them and not the OT.

OT you can stun the horror if there are 2 on you and both enrages and hunter only tranq shot one (8s cd)
. MT save CDs if we take too long on P1 and LK gets very strong. (should not happen)

Mokmok-> Your primary job, besides ES on OT and proccing Ancestral Healing whenever you can on the tanks, is to heal Infest. The faster you heal it, the less you have to heal. So throw a quick Chain Heal as soon as you see the debuff, and make sure the debuff drops off before you stop healing the targets.

Solemf-> Hot up the raid as much as possible, keep hots on the tanks as usual. Help on Infest targets too.
Do note that Infest is cast in all phases. So P1 is like for you to warmup and get used to it since there's virtually no other sources of raid damage, unlike p2/p3 (ALOT of raid damage)

DPS-> burn Lich King, watch for Necrotic Plague
DONT bother AOEing adds if it's not part of your normal rotation.

Top view. Grey is the OT position, Black is the LK/MT position

Phase 1.5
I feel that the phase transitions are the trickiest parts. We need to time this correctly, only pushing LK to 70% when there are less than 2 Shambling Horrors (BEST if NONE. )
Although from what i've seen it seems ok to push to p1.5 with 2 horrors, they will die quickly from the plague, but it's dangeorous.

The moment you move to your positions (picture below), start AOEing (or focusfiring the Horrors if there are 2) until the first Raging Spirit is out. If you're out of range, nevermind.

Lee and Iamfood are responsible to kill any Frozen Orbs, Melee DPS + Lifetaps get the Raging Spirit that spawns.
Note to Lee/Food -> Frozen orbs have only about 6k HP, so they die very easily! Your main focus is still to DPS down Raging Spirits, but you 2 are responsible for any Orbs that come out.
Move back in when you see the white streaks on the floor, get ready for phase 2.

Photobucket
I'm standing on the platform we're running to for p1.5.. i'm turning the camera around now to face outside:

Photobucket
Grey circle -> OT + adds. NOONE SHOULD BE 10 YARDS WITHIN HIM.
Green circle-> Leechoonboay + Crazerk
Blue Circle-> Mokmok + Lifetaps
Black Circle -> MT + Melees
Orange Circle-> Solemf + Iamfood
This picture is slightly inaccurate - i want the blue circle group to be more to the LEFT, and the black circle group abit more to the RIGHT, not in a straight line like the picture.

Phase 2.
Tanks -> MT will start tanking first, whenever LK casts Soul Reaper, OT please taunt immediately. Repeat.

From this phase onwards, everyone needs to be VERY VERY careful about DEFILE. The moment you see it cast and a black pool appear below/near you, MOVE OUT IMMEDIATELY. This takes priority over everything. EVERYTHING. Blink, Disengage, Sprint out, whatever shit you can do to get out of the Defile zone as fast as possible.

Ok there are 2 main commands i'll give for this phase - Spread and Stack.

Spread---> simple, just spread out. I'll assign specific spots for everyone, so just stand at your position. Remember that your position WILL change because of Defile, so just find another location that's 10 yards away from others.

Stack--> This doesn't mean stand on top of each other. We'll wipe to Defile immediately if we do this. This just means you need to move as close as possible to the centre of the room, while maintaining at least 5 yards. With some bad luck, Defile MAY occur while doing this, so please just move the hell out of it while staying AWAY from the EDGE of the platform as much as possible.

'Stack' is called whenever a Valkryr spawns. The bird-like mob. I'm not sure if Frost Trap works but you can try it Lee. Vespier will CoI first, then followed by Sotsott stun, then whoever else got stun also use. Throw all snares such as Concussive Shot, Frost Shock, Frostbolt, etc. Please burn down the add as fast as possible, then Spread back to your position.

It is possible we will have an add left over from P1.5 when P2 starts. If so, kill the add first. However, if the Valkyr spawns, it takes priority over everything.

here is the position for P2 and p3: (my camera is facing the platform we were standing on in p1.5)

Photobucket
Pink circle- > Crazerk
Purple circle-> Lifetaps
Orange -> Solemf
Light Blue -> Iamfood (yes you have to travel the furthest distance after p1.5.. cos you can Blink)
Dark Blue -> mokmok
Green-> Lee
Grey-> OT + Spirit
MT+Melee in the middle

These positions WILL change, due to Defile, so please just adapt accordingly. This is just a general guide.

Phase 2.5
Exactly the same as 1.5, just more adds. We will bloodlust once there are 2 Raging Spirits up. (4 spawn in this phase, the 4th spawning just before Phase 2.5 ends, meaning there will be one left over Spirit)

Phase 3
Spread out just like before. Defile still occurs, so be fast.

Finish up the raging spirit from P2.5.

There's no more Valkryrs, but there's Vile Spirits now. When Vile Spirits are summoned, all RDPS need to burn down as many of them as possible. Each RDPS should kill at least 2-3, to minimize raid damage. When they swoop down to explode, please be spread out (melee also need to spread when they're about to drop down)

Seed of Corruption works wonders here. You cannot Volley/Blizzard them though, so you need to focusfire them down.

Whoever gets sucked into Frostmourne either has to spam heal on the NPC to keep him up or DPS down the add. Interrupting the add is very very important so please do so if you can. (both healer/dps)

When he reach 10%, he kills everyone, DON'T RELEASE. Just wait and watch show. NPC will resurrect everyone, accept it, then free DPS down the last 10%.

note to tank

This is a note to Brakkas (or whoever else comes if you suddenly decide to not turn up)

First 4 bosses - non issue.
Plague quarter-> You'll tank festergut first. esti will taunt off at 8 stacks or so (to factor in lag + miss taunt) , etc. not difficult.
Rotface- you'll MT boss. move him for explosion, and if big slime somehow moves v close to the raid or something. other than that, shouldn't be moving him much

Putricide- You'll MT boss. Start near the table till he throws first Slime Pools, then move to the left side. After green slime spawns, move boss to the right side. Alternate right left right left etc.
For phase 2, move boss off the bombs on the floor. There is a timer for DBM so just watch for it too, don't rely on reacting visually, anticipate the spawns with the timer and get ready to move.
P3, we'll start near the table, and move in a clockwise direction (may go anti-cw depending on slime pool position). Try to only move boss if there's the bombs. Don't move unnecessarily. Watch out for movin into a corner, make sure melee have room to DPS etc. You really have to use your common sense here.
Esti will taunt at 3 stacks, when he has 4 stacks, you will taunt. Then alternate every stack after that.

~~
blood princes - you'll tank Valanar and Taldram. Just face them away from raid.

Queen - DPS kgo.

~~
Dreamwalker - stay generally in the middle, and pick up your assigned side of adds. Try to call out if there's a Blazing skeleton on your side.

Sindragosa - DPS all the way till P3. For P3, you'll pick up Sindragosa asap after resetting your stacks behind the first Ice Tomb and it breaks. Refer to the post below this for more specific info , just look for 'Legends and Esti' section.
The other mechanics like Blistering Cold, the lining of the 2 beacons in p2, please do go read up and understand them.

~~

Lich King - You'll be tanking LK. I'll full brief this on sunday, and another more comprehensive post will be posted after Friday.

Briefing on Sindragosa

THOSE WHO HAVEN'T READ THE POST BELOW THIS POST REGARDING THURS/SUN'S RAID, READ IT NOW AND REPLY ME ASAP IN-GAME.

Just more tips/briefing on Sindragosa:

P1 and P2 should be no problem.. we don't seem to have a DPS problem anyway. Sotsottsl should be back this week, so yea.

In P3, Mokmok and I will be taking turns rotating between hiding behind Tombs and healing tank. This whole part talks only about p3, p1 and p2 should be no problems. Just CTRL+F to look for your name to see your specific brief, then scroll down after the ~~~ to see the last sentence.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Mokmok-> When you are outside, your priority is to heal the tanks! NOT THE RAID! Solemf will take care of the raid, so when you are out, keep the tanks up. If possible keep Ancestral Healing proc full time up on the tanks (do you have some addon to watch this?) it's quite critical to prevent the tank from dying to a Frost breath + melee crit from Sindra.
Solemf-> Your main job is to keep the raid alive. I don't think there's any problem here since i haven't actually seen anyone die from raid damage before in Sindragosa. Thus, need you to do abit more! (Since you're handling this well) Make sure full hots on the active tank at all times! Lifebloom, Rejuv,(regrowth?) This will help us ALOT in battling Frost Breath damage especially when we're moving to LoS.
For you, you will LoS every single tomb, unless there is a need for you to stay out (e.g. my turn to stay out but i have unchained magic) You are like a Supersub for me/mokmok :)
Thus just before you LoS you should have time to roll all 2-3 hots onto the tank then go duck behind a tomb, at the same time continuing to heal the raid since you're moving with them. Never forget to throw a hot on the Frost beacon target too!
Vespier+Sotsot-> Frost tombs are your top priority. LoS behind them, burst them down. You're not affected by self-damaging debuff when attacking tomb, so this is where you shine.
Lee+Iamfood-> Whether we can kill the boss depends on you RDPS. You need to DPS the boss as much as possible, but watch out where you are standing (e.g. not at the spot where someone is going to move to for Beacon) Don't worry too much about the Ice Tomb, the 2 melee can burst down, just help if you are also hiding, and also if it's a MELEE who get Frost Beacon.
You are ENCOURAGED to skip 1-2 Frost Tombs to get more damage on the boss. For example if Iamfood is Frost Beacon target, then when his ice Tomb is broken, he can stay there and DPS, until the next Frost Beacon is cast then he just needs to move 10 yards away from that spot and keep away from the guy who has Frost Beacon, then go LoS.
Lifetaps-> I just need you to roll DoTs on all Ice Tombs if possible, maybe just Corruption and another one. Other than that, DPS the boss, always try to refresh your DoTs on the boss before you go to LoS. (when you do of course SB the tomb to help break it)
Same thing, you are encouraged to skip 1-2 Frost Tombs. Read the paragraph above your name ^.
And seriously get the h4x trinket! every single top aff lock i see uses NMiC, you REALLY need to get it.
Legends + Esti (or whichever tank we get)
-> Rotate off every other Frost Beacon, after the first one. We are placing the first ice tomb on the right, so it's closest for tanks to run. So Legends (if you're tanking 2nd) just reset your stacks after the 1st Tomb and quickly take over. So it's something like this:
Tank that is tanking Sindragosa during:
Beacon1 -> Tank1 (after Beacon1, tank 2 will go over and taunt)
Beacon2 -> Tank2
Beacon3 ->Tank2 (after Beacon 3, tank 1 will go over and taunt)
Beacon4 -> Tank 1
Beacon5-> Tank 1 (after Beacon5, tank 2 will go over and taunt)
Beacon 6-> ETCETC.
So as you can see, every odd number beacon should be on the RIGHT side, closer to the MainTank position.
Remember to spam your /rw 'Your name' TAUNT macro so that the healers know which tank is active.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Ok so you all know the fight, you all know your role, without SOMEONE to wipe us every attempt this time, i'm certain we'll down her this week. I'm writing another post like this briefing about Lich King after this, do go read up on the fights and familiarize yourself with all the abilities and adds for TLK, which we will either do on Sunday or i'll extend lockout and we'll do it next week. (i'm hoping Sunday.. next week no more vespier)

note to group

This coming week(after reset) we're pushing for Lich King, if full attendance, i don't see why we can't.

Raids will be on Friday 730pm, sunday 7pm.
Target:
Friday- Lower Spire-> Plagueworks-> Sindragosa (if got time, Blood)
Sunday- Blood-> Lich King

I seek your help to just make this push this week, once we get LK down we can just do Thursdays only, since we'll be doing hardmodes.
So just for this coming week, try to go out with gf/friends earlier, so sunday night can raid.

If you REALLY can't come on sunday for some reason, i'll extend this week's ID so we can kill LK(and sindra) next week (assuming Esti can come)

If Esti can't come, i'll get a replacement tank, and see if we can kill on Sunday.

If esti can't come and other people also can't come on sunday, i'll extend next week's one then.

If you're totally confused, nevermind, i just need to know if YOU can make it.

Get back to me BY MONDAY if you can come for both days. drop me a mail or something.

BTW, if you're thinking like 'huh why extend then what about my zomgpwnzor Frost Emblems!!.
Firstly, i think most of you should already have 4pc t10? my pally had 300++ emblems (and i bought cloak too), 60+60+90+90 = 300 = 4 piece already.
So your EoF is for.. PS? come on la.

Second, the moment we unlock Hardmodes, you have access to better gear (yes, icc10 heroic is ilevel 264) and all end-wing bosses (e.g. saurfang, queen) drops TIER PIECES. Yes, those Mark of Sanctification and whatever shit. So you can get your 264 Tier10 .. FOR FREE. DONT NEED SPAM DKP IN 25MAN!

Plus of course, you'll have the prestige of showing off your Kingslayer title and laugh at other people who don't have.

So, hope that ended your QQ.

GET BACK TO ME BY MONDAY SO I KNOW IF I HAVE TO EXTEND LOCKOUT.

Sindragosa

I'm going to assume everyone understands what to do for P1 and p2 so i'm not going to bother covering it.

First thing you must understand about P3 is it is NOT a DPS race. It is an execution phase. You execute what you have to do correctly, you will kill Sindragosa. The DPS burn is p1 actually, since there is less movement involved. P3 is all about pulling off Frost Beacons perfectly.

The black circle is Sindragosa.. we're tanking her in the middle of the room in the big circle .

1) The raid will stack as shown as the green circle. Whoever gets targetted by Frost Beacon must quickly move to the shown position (i.e. to the left, when ure facing Sindragosa)

Photobucket

2) Whole raid then goes to LoS (including Legends. after Legends has cleared ur stacks u can go taunt over from Esti, then u two just rotate whenever u need, swapping every 2 beacons is fine but make sure you run out of the Vacuum spell if you have high stacks of Mystic Buffet.)
Photobucket

3) The 2nd person who gets Frost Beacon needs to move to the right (when facing sindragosa) at least 10 yards from the raid. The raid stays where they are after breaking the frost tomb and continue DPS on Sindra until the 2nd ice tomb is up.
Photobucket

4) Then they will just go and LoS, and repeat from 1)
Photobucket

Healers can choose to skip a frost tomb as well (buffet will up to 4-5 stacks), but make sure you don't get chained by the Frost Beacon target.
