Hi I hope you take the time to read this just as I've taken the time to write this, in order to understand everything before the raid since everyone else has already done it. If you're not clear about anything just ask me before raid or something if possible.
Baleroc
We're doing a slightly different strategy. The sequence of healers remain the same (pally , priest, druid, pally, priest, druid, etc...)
What is different is that now each healer will take one entire crystal, instead of rotating every DPS.
E.g. 1st crystal - crazerk, 2nd crystal - sam, 3rd crystal - kevin, 4th crystal - crazerk, etcetc.
The fight starts out with our shadow priest taking the entire first crystal. He will use Dispersion at 19 stacks (lasts till the end) to keep himself alive, so before that, me and Brownrice will be spamming on him to keep him alive. Sam (or whoever's 3rd healing) will be in charge of keeping the tank alive during this time, until your turn to heal (the 2nd crystal). Use whatever necessary.
Then comes the next crystal, which will be fillian and hydon taking it. However, only one healer will keep them up. That would be Sam. So you have to heal Fillian, and then hydon when he takes over.
Then next crystal would be Brownrice covering two DPS, then next crystal is crazerk covering two DPS, etc etc.
Key notes
- you should start spamming Flash Heal once Torment hits 7 stacks. You should be able to recognize how the debuff looks like now, and monitor the stacks. There should be no reason for any DPS dying in this unless he takes more than 13 stacks or you have a bad lag spike.
Remember that you are spamming not just because you want to keep him alive, but every heal cast grants you a healing buff to make healing the tank easier.
- I would rather you OOM than you hesitate on spamming the Torment target and let your target die. Don't. Let. Your. Target. Die.
- Remember if you are on tank healing, you need to top up the Tank past 90% HP when Decimation Blade is occuring... failure to do so WILL result in a tank death.
Alysrazor
Keep the raid up, avoid the worms in the middle as they have a frontal AOE that REALLY hurts (it probably 2-3 shots you, i got sprayed for 1second last week and almost died)
Try to get 2 feathers as it'll make running around alot easier.
Don't worry about mana just before the burn phase, you can more or less go OOM during that phase, as during the burn phase you can regen all your mana back.
During burn phase, spam Smite / your highest DPS spell on the boss. You'll regain all your mana.
Immediately after burn phase comes some intense raid damage, so some raid cooldowns or some big raid heals will help alot. Brownrice will be using Tranq AFTER the knockback, so perhaps Sam (or our 3rd healer) can pop her big aoe heals before the knockback.
I predict the hardest part will be learning the cyclone pattern. The easiest method I find is just to start running in one direction clockwise, then once you see the cyclones moving start following one cyclone, then as one passes you on the left or right quickly strafe there turn around and chase that one, rinse and repeat.
